I always love going to bridal stores. From David's Bridal to the local bridal shops I absolutely love to look at wedding dresses. It took me 4 months and 16 dresses to pick my own wedding dress and if it was in the budget(and my husband would have allowed it) I probably would have had a wedding gown fashion show, changing multiple times throughout my ceremony. But alas I found "the one" and I loved wearing it. Bridal gowns change every year and I was just looking at "The Knot" at some of the seasons new styles. I've posted the pics of my favorites.
1. Dress makers this year have made it easy for us girls to find our "something blue" by adding the color to dress itself. What a great idea because, if you are like me, you may forget until two days before your wedding and have to run around looking for something blue. The dress I posted is a Liancarlo dress style 6818 for the lovelies who are interested in that style. Liancarlo's fall fashion is full of romance and classic elegance. It's definitely a beautiful dress to remember
2. For those ladies who wanna mix sexiness, playfulness, and just good ole party fun in one dress, this seasons leanings to fringe is definitely the move for you. The dress I posted is from Theia. I absolutely love this dress , the lines and the silhouette. It just oozes sexy without being over the top.
3. For the next group I have two dresses and I'll tell you why in a bit. This is the waltz length dress. I think these dresses leave a bride with a dress that they can wear more than once. This type of dress would look great in a wedding or at a formal event, which gives you more use for your money I posted two because the lace dress from Oleg Cassini is almost identical to the dress that my mother wore for her second wedding, another plus for these dresses. They make the perfect dress for ladies who are having a second(third, fourth, or fifth lol) wedding and don't want a formal wedding gown. The other dress is a beautiful design from Romona Keveza. I am a sucker for a strapless sweetheart design and this dress just looks like so much fun.
4. Wedding dresses with beading on the upper arms and shoulders are making a showing this year. I am not a fan of that because I would feel that I have to pull them up all night making me look like a complete lunatic lol. But the new styles are beautiful and elegant and perfect if you are only wearing your dress to walk down the aisle and take pictures. Just make sure you are comfortable with the style. You want to look timeless and beautiful as you walk down the aisle not like you borrowed your big sisters dress and it doesn't quite fit lol. This gorgeous empire waisted dress from Kelly Faetanini is a great choice
5. My final dress offering is the 2 for 1 dress. These dresses have removable straps and trains so you can go from the aisle to the reception in no time flat. The dress posted is an offering from Ines De Santos. I love the lines and curves of this dress. I think it would be perfect for those ladies with a perfect hour glass figure.
So that's it my wedding lookers. I hope you enjoyed my suggestions
